- Thank you to Shannon at Jewelry Division Public Relations blog, who said some nice things about my work. Check it out!
- I am so entertained by If I Blog It They Will Come. This is a must-see! Almost as thrilling as the J-Lo Kiss My Ass video. Thanks to the Manolo for pointing this out.
- I was also entertained today when, during one of my rare forays into the subway, a guy who spoke very little English asked me to direct him to the Empire State Building. Since I was heading in that direction, I told him to get on the same train as me. Turns out he was from Korea and was thrilled that I could say “Thank you” in Korean. While on the train, I drew him a little map to use when he got out at his stop. He then asked me for my name and then carefully wrote on the back of my map, “Wendy, my first helper.” When he got off the train, we thanked each other profusely. In case you ever need to thank someone in Korean, the approximate pronunciation is “kam-sam-ni-dah.”

Oh hey! I LOVE the subway story. I used to live in NYC (this is the first post of yours I’ve read so I’m not sure yet where you are) and I’m so touched by your map and his notation…
