This ’60s foldover clutch from Posh Vintage (above) reminded me of Poppie Couture’s foldovers. The vintage bag is less expensive but the Poppie bags are certainly beautiful. I love the deep red color.

I feel that I’ve also seen foldover bags with a big ring handle like the vintage bag’s, but I haven’t been able to track those down. Mostly because I’ve been too lazy to look very hard. If you find them, leave me a link in the comments!
well I was looking at shopbop’s bags and this one is kinda similar…it doesn’t have a big ring, but it’s the same idea: http://www.shopbop.com/shop/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441805515&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302024667&fm=browse-category&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=1408474395181057
oh those are very cute!
those foldover bags are beautiful. i love the first one best.
thanks for stopping by, and when the first two weeks of school are over, and all my sixth graders feel a little more confident in their lives, i’ll be able to relax and blog a little more. please keep reading.
ps, you do not look a speck like liza minella, not even in that suit. don’t fret.
oh man… i could take a bite out of the red bag. that could be because i’m eating a cherry jolly rancher at the moment though.
Thanks to Jenamoured. And LOL @ Jennine! I love those things.
oooh i like them both! foldover bags are great. i love the huge ones that act as purses and not just evening bags!
The light blue dress is delicious! So, you like those pradas? They scare me! I could do an all black, but something about the beakish looking heel is freaking me out. I’m sure you would wear them well though 🙂
I bought a pair of shoes that I thing you’d love! From Te Casan in Soho, the designer is Gaetano Perrone and he was just poached by Dior. I will blog about them later tonight, but I did a quick piece on my other blog at Honey Magazine(http://honeymag.com/modules/stylechile/). Enjoy! They’re now on sale for $187.00.
