the rain is gone. After some bad storms here in NYC, the sun is shining brightly. But if you want to be chic in the next downpour, you should prepare now lest you find yourself buying one of those ugly $5 jobs off the street. Give Rihanna’s umbrella-ella-ellas a pass and check out Rain or Shine. It has the most amazing collection of ultra-high-quality, ultra-beautiful umbrellas (and parasols!). Some of these pieces are true works of art and priced accordingly, so you need to be able to (a) afford the finer things in life and (b)keep track of your umbrella and not forget it in a cab. I bought two at the lower end of the price range: a newspaper-print pattern for me and a very professional-looking pin-striped umbrella (ella ella…I can’t help myself) for my husband. Browse the website, but if you’re in New York, you must definitely stop in.

Here in Arizona people are starting to carry umbrella to shade themselves from the sun (as people in the rest of the world have done forever) and I could even use it for the few times a year it rains.
(Thanks for your kind comment about the passing of my dog.)

You’ve never heard of Hollister before? Well, basically it’s a really trashy brand for suburben kids and people are always dressed in it head to toe and it looks horrible.

The market is raining pretty heavily!
Any thoughts on that?
Bet you’re glad you’re in G O L D !

I really think that buying a Rihanna umbrella is a waste of money. And why would I want an umbrella that says Rihanna on it? haha.
Anyway, I like the 2 umbrellas in this post.
