What Wendy Wore: Green Jacket, Green Ring

June 17, 2014 by WendyB

Last week, I went to visit gorgeous editor Tina Huynh at W Magazine. I can never resist taking a photo by the big W in that office.

Jacket: Castelbajac (2011)
T-shirt: Splendid
Jeans: Acne (2008-ish)
Shoes: Louis Vuitton (2004-ish)

I wore that Castelbajac jacket practically every day for a year when I got it.

I believe I got the gold Vuitton shoes in late 2003 or very early 2004. I definitely have photos of them from February 2004.

These were my default dressy shoes for many years.

They’re in iffy condition now, but I’m not ready to give them up, so I wear them with jeans instead of cocktail dresses and evening gowns.

I wore my green tourmaline Fulvia ring to W. The stone doesn’t match the green of the jacket but I felt it complemented it anyway.

That ring had a lot of company. Eryn took a photo of all of my hands for Instagram while I played with did important business on my phone.

You can’t see my thumb ring in that picture. That ring brought my ring total for the day to 11. I do believe that’s a record! I should have added my gold initial midi ring to that combination to make it a dozen.

I see no problem with wearing that jacket every day. None.

Gold shoes are a weakness too – this is basically an ideal outfit. And the ring is smashing.

I was more a John fan – I saw Beatlemania at the Winter Garden at an impressionable age 😀

I was always torn between Paul and John, but at some point Paul won out.

This is one of my favorite jackets in your wardrobe. The rings are all my favs. How can you choose just one>?

No one should ever choose just one ring!

The dogs are on the bottom half of the case, but my hands are covering the poor things!
