UPDATED TO ADD: No need to be self-conscious about your toes — even if you have ugly feet like mine. A head-to-toe outfit shot featuring the sandals is fine. You don’t have to do a close-up unless you want to!
UPDATED AGAIN ON JULY 31 TO ADD: I’m going to drop this story for the Huffington Post because I haven’t gotten enough blogger photos. I pondered coercing a good photographer into going out and doing some street-style shots with me because thongs are everywhere, but I decided the time for this has come and gone. It would have been a more interesting story if I’d done it earlier in the summer when I saw people wearing thongs in Paris when the high temperature was only in the low 60s. That showed dedication! Anyway, here (on my blog only) are the three bloggers who did send me photos, plus a comment from Saks on fall’s hot shoe style.
