The customer of the day is the gorgeous Tina Anderson. Tina is a dear friend, the creator of the Wrinkly Slut cocktail, my #1 source for reality-television news (her Jersey Shore nickname is T-Wrexx), and one of the founding members of my Golden Girls Gang.

Tina and I met around 2000, introduced by our mutual friend Stef. When I went into the jewelry business in 2005, Tina was one of my first customers. She writes:
“I’ve known Wendy for years (and years and years!) and I believe that when we first met, I was a girl who accessorized simply with silver hoop earrings and a plain silver ring. That has all since changed. I believe that my first Wendy Brandes jewelry purchase was a small necklace from the first trunk sale of hers that i ever attended. I think that it must have ignited my jewelry-wearing interest because between more trunk sales, cava drinking and generous tax refunds, I have somehow amassed four pairs of earrings, seven necklaces, two rings, and three single stud earrings ranging from silver skulls to amethyst pendants! I went from being a person without any ‘real’ jewelry to owning some unbelievably fabulous jewelry. I love Wendy’s pieces because they are whimsical, sophisticated, humorous and edgy all at the same time.”

Because we’re so close, when Tina has an event that calls for some extra sparkle, I’m happy to loan her some special, red-carpet-worthy pieces.

The Wrinkly Slut – I love it! This is such good timing because I just stocked up on tequila, and tomorrow is Cinco de Mayo!! I’m not fond of hot peppers, though, so I may have to adapt mine to just be a Wrinkly Bimbo.
