Remember August’s Jewel of the Month? It was a custom ring I made for my gorgeous sister Terri Berry by redesigning her old jewelry. My brother-in-law gave the new ring to Terri for her birthday on August 14.

Well, it took me a little while, but I made matching earrings as a belated birthday gift from me and our mother, BarbaraB.

UPDATED TO ADD: Writing about Terri Berry reminds me of an email she sent me last week. My father gave her his old iPhone in August 2009. Every once in a while some of his data shows up, including this, which Terri just found in the Notes section:
“Dear dad…happy father’s day! Love your first and favorite daughter.”
