It’s a part of history, even if the end was brought upon themselves by their own hand. I bet there are issues up on eBay already for a huge amount of money.

    Extremely cool keepsake.

  3. I am completely jealous! I would love to have one of the last ones for the high school journalism class I teach! I love collecting newspapers…that is a great find…hold on to it!

Heh. I think the shenanigans that brought down NotW aren’t/weren’t limited to that one publication, and will probably continue to come to light.

    Great keepsake!

It’s a valuable souvenir for a journalist with integrity and ACTUAL journalism training.

  6. Yes, a very cool find indeed! Dreadful “journalism” of late, but you’ve got to keep this forever.

  7. Definitely a collector’s item. Moi, I just gather all the puntastic headlines from the Post to show my (stunned) students upon return to class.

Sad story, especially for a journalist of integrity.

Wishing I had grabbed myself a copy now
