Last month, I wrote that red legs — whether pants, tights or leggings — are the hot look among fashion bloggers. It’s a look that is still going strong. Here are a few of the recent examples. Click the photos to go to the original posts.
And Lara of My Milk Glass Heart pointed out red tights on the runway at the Rue du Mail show.
I had a pair of red capri pants in the late ’90s. I also had a pair of red flared jeans. Someone knocked a glass of red wine onto the flares. You’d think the one garment that could survive a glass of red wine would be a red one, but the wine stained so horribly that I had to throw the jeans out. I’m still bitter about that!
just wait until u see my new red shoes.
So swell, all these red legs. And my anti-spam word fits fine: cherries!
brilliant! I”ve got my red tights ready to wear with an outfit on the weekend!
I love my red jeans. I feel your pain re the red wine -dreadful! xx
Hi there-I had red capri pants back in the day too, I thrifted some H&M red straight legged jeans a couple of weeks ago, I’ll definitely be wearing them soon-I love this trend!!
Red is where its at…everyone looks fabulous in their red legs:)
Stop by and say Hello:)

I have red trousers–but I wore them to play Logaine Schwartzandgrubeniere in “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” so I fear that I’d always feel like that character in them. But I DO wear my red Camper boots a good deal.
I had some red capris that got a mystery stain on them. They were so perfect. I may need to hunt a new pair down! I’m digging the cuffed casual pair on “Preppy With a Twist”!
Too bad about your wine-stained jeans. How awful.
Way back in about 1977, I had a pair of red Sasson cotton pants that were styled exactly like jeans. I LOVED those things. I wore them with a red-checked gingham shirt, and a red corduroy vest. And clogs.
Ordered some red pants last week. Wish they would hurry up and arrive!
Love it! Red legs forever!
I really need to go find some red pants now.
Yay, Justine! I’ve always loved red and leopard. Reminds me of right after the kill…not really. I have no idea what made me think that!
Bah, I have absolutely nothing red-legged, but now I want something. Red denims sound good to me!
I agree with the red pants.
They look hot and should be worn as much as possible.
Why is my wardrobe so terribly devoid of red pants?!?
LOVE LOVE LOVE #2!!!!!!
Hi sweets, such a lovely post with such lovely ladies. I love it! Your blog is fab 🙂
I had a rasberry pair of jeans in the 90s that I lived in, I felt great in them, thanks for reminding me of some lovely times! Hugs
I am really loving this red revival at the moment it is so striking. Xxxx
I’m on the search for red jeans today on 34th Street for my friend @fashioncenterNY!
I love all of these red looks. Not sure that you’ll ever see a photo of me sporting the look, but you never know!
Pops of red are always a good sight with any outfit if they are well thought out.
im pretty sure ive jut been inspird to buy some bright red tights
i love charlotta’s take on the red
I have red flares and I think the time to wear them might well be NOW based on this post. Thanks for the inspiration.
Send me a picture when you wear them!
More great legs! I really do love pink red. The true red (maybe it’s got blue in it?) is a bit heavy on me, but the pinky red is very playful and easy, I think.
First red tights and now red pants! HOT.
I think I need to pull out an old pair I have in the closet. Every year, I think about tossing them, but I just can’t bring myself to do it. Glad I haven’t.
Oh… side note… how appropriate that my anti-spam word is “knickers!”
hmmm, I think I would look silly in red pants….BUT loving the ladies you have featured above.
Particularly digging Linley’s look.

OH GREAT! Now I need red pants.
Radical red legs! Thanks for adding me to another red-legged round up. As much as I love my red trousers – I miss my red jeans that met a similar fate as your flares (food stain, not wine).
I am not sure why this pleases me so much. Maybe because it IS because of fashion bloggers that I started craving red legs- tights, knee-hi and ankles. But especially the tights. I saw them everyone, but only on fashion bloggers. Then, in the live-stream of the IFB con, that one panel of super stylish bloggers wearing the red pants, you just knew its time had come! Love the collection you’ve curated. And looking forward in seeing your fab version of them. -Bella Q
I am woefully behind on my blog reading, so I just noticed my red legs up there! Fun!
I’m most envious – still looking for a pair of fabulous red jeans!
