Right on time for Valentine’s Day, here is my latest design, the emoticon heart ring. Don’t know how to make an emoticon heart? Just put a less-than sign and a 3 together, and voilà! A heart.

$150. Click to purchase. Photo by John Muggenborg.

Like my swear rings and asterisk ring, the emoticon heart ring is solid sterling silver. The band starts at size 6. As you can see in the picture, the band is open in the back so that you can adjust it to fit your finger.

The ring was inspired by gorgeous blogger Jordana of Clutch 22, who has always been a fan of my swear rings.

At some point, she said to me, “If you ever do emoticon heart rings, I’ll be the first to buy them!”

Sorry, Jordana! Gorgeous blogger Erin of Work With What You’ve Got got to this ring before anyone else.

Erin had the scoop on the new ring because she joined my Facebook fan page. I recently added a mini store to that page under the “Shop Now” button. I’ll be putting some new designs there first, as well as offering discounts on existing designs. If you want to be in the know, you need to become a Facebook fan!

I only made two of the emoticon heart rings to start. I had to see how I liked them! I did like them and they both sold. I have another batch of rings coming early next week and you CAN get them by Valentine’s Day but please select an express delivery option so that yours gets to you in time.

And stay tuned for a two-ring version of this look!

I just want to say congrats for your work! It’s incredible! Such a smart idea! I love all your designs and especially the <3 ring (at the same time I feel relieved for not being the only one without a clue that this emoticon was a heart. So, I've actually learned something today, yeah:)!!)

  20. I want one! But my bank balance won’t let me… Hopefully next time I get a windfall.

  21. I can’t wait to see the two ring version.

I’ve been eying those swear rings for a while, but I’m not really a swear word kind of girl, so I’ve been holding out 🙂
