Last week, I mentioned that at my 2001 wedding, I changed out of my Richard Tyler wedding gown and into a custom-made white leather halter top and hip-huggers. A few of you requested pictures. Here they are.
I thought I was being pretty edgy with the leather at the time, but the gown is so conservative, isn’t it? I was striving for something “timeless” and “elegant” and blah blah blah. Pretty but boring. Nowadays, I would just go crazy. Maybe a rainbow-striped gown with a giant hoop skirt. There would have to be a whole bunch of midgets under the hoop skirt, of course. I’d have the midgets jump out and throw glitter at everyone after the kiss. Now THAT’S occasion dressing!
Anyway, now that I’ve done what you asked and shared these photos, you can do a little something for me. Hey, there’s no such thing as a free lunch here! If you haven’t done it already, click here to give my photo five hearts so I can be a winner in the Independent Fashion Bloggers Dress-Up Contest. Need more reasons to vote for me?
