Happy Feet

March 7, 2009 by WendyB

You can’t be blue if you’re wearing these shoes by Georgina Goodman. The following shoe traits are known for their antidepressant effects:

  • Day-Glo pink
  • Tail fin
  • Striped soles

I think these shoes would have felt right at home in Madonna’s Borderline video. I still want the graffiti skirt and fluorescent shoes from that one. Madonna, call me if you have those in storage somewhere.

Shoes for happy feet, now available at My Wardrobe for $577.50

I can’t find a Youtube clip of Steve Martin’s “happy feet” line (the penguins got it from HIM), but I did find this transcript of a Saturday Night Live monologue that has both happy feet and Steve’s bit on the drug that makes you small. Really small. Enjoy!

Heaven; but I want that pink satin dress from Material Girl, with proper boobs to fill it. And these shoes.
oh, and the diamond necklace she throws in the bin.
    xx

Isn’t it great that Steve Martin still doesn’t suck? Please god he just stays that way and doesn’t make some weird pronouncement on minorities that destroys all respect.

I’ve found that eating a mountain of Combos can make you small, but that’s not really a pill or a desired side effect.
