Dysphemism (noun): the substitution of a disagreeable, offensive, or disparaging expression for an agreeable or inoffensive one. The antonym of “euphemism.”

Example: “Have a good day, bitches!”

    Phew. I’m so glad to know there’s a name for this—all along I thought I had some terrible undiagnosed syndrome! what a relief to know it can be described using just a simple dictionary word!

    But there go the millions of dollars I was hoping to earn as a guinea pig in the clinical trials for a cure…
