Be Like WendyB in a Hairy Purple Jacket

December 5, 2008 by WendyB

For those of you who have thought, “If only I had a hairy purple jacket, I could be more like WendyB,” Miu Miu’s fringed tartan peacoat is reduced to $1,036 from $1,480 on Net-a-Porter.

For inspiration, here I am, wearing my hairy purple jacket by Versace, with BarbaraB in 2007.

UPDATED TO ADD: When I was buying my Versace jacket back in the day, a woman about 30 years older than I am was buying the same jacket in yellow. She looked spectacular!

Simply the most fab I’ve ever seen. And you pull it off perfectly!

In this coat you look like a mod glamour girl…I’m afraid I would look more like a sesame street muppet…

Look at you! Rocking that hairy purpleness! It is a look that you alone can pull, I suspect. 😀 But pulling it off very successfully!

Thanks, Wendy! You know, thats what I love about the classics. You can wear them if you are 17 or 50. Just different. Have a great weekend!

I pissed at how photo-perfect you always are! Love the hairy jacket. Wish I could show you my hairy Louis Vuitton…Actually its in my Paris postings from Sept. if you want to look…Sometimes I feel silly wearing a carpet around my neck though. What do you think?

I love the fringe detail on this coat, I’d say it would look much greater on as well. but 1480 bucks…..damn.
