I was having some serious ’80s nostalgia so I got out my earrings from 1984: the heart-locket earring you see Madonna wearing in the Borderline video, and a guitar-pick earring given to me by the first boy I ever kissed. Yep, these earrings have been in my possession for longer than some of you bloggers have walked the earth.
