Here are two pictures I took of Madonna in concert at Madison Square Garden Tuesday night.
Every time I see her perform, I think, “I really must work out more.”
Anyone who wondered why I failed to wear rubber bangles to the show can read my sad reason here.

Nice pics. Yeah, she really makes me feel bad about myself. Bet she rarely blogs.
cybill says
Hmmn I don’t know about that, I find her a horrible warning rather than a good example!
WendyB says
If you think of her as an athlete, rather than a woman trying to look traditionally pretty, she’s awesome. To see her dancing with amazing energy more than an hour into her show just blows me away. The physical power of it is inspiring. Would I want to look like her? No. Would I want to be that strong? Sure!
Miss Karen says
She looks amazing for her age although sometimes her muscular look is a bit extreme for me. These pictures are great – you must have had a great view!
Sharon Rose says
Hi there-well, her stamina and athleticism put me to shame 🙁 I only walk as exercise and not even that much now its got colder!
Blue Floppy Hat says
I’ve never understood the people who rag on about her muscles making her look ‘un-feminine’ (Camille Paglia included- shame on Camille!)- for any person to be as fit as she is at her age, is a tremendous achievement and those hypocrites never seem to bother acknowledging that she’s probably one of the fittest people around. It’s like aging, while simultaneously working to stay in shape, is a crime or something.
Sorry, rant over. But- SQUEEEEEEE!
kpriss says
Indeed she’s one hard working girl who has never stopped (or let anything stop her) from being an icon. Sometimes I feel like an intruder when I read all those gossip talk about her personal life…
your sassy reporter says
hello! I have added your cool blog to my new blog’s links! it is at http://fashionlolita.blogspot.com/
hope you can come visit me sometime. And also my much older blog at http://www.freshscoops.com
By the way, it is nice to see Madonna still has her stuff after all these years; it gives us an optimistic view of our own years ahead!
miss cavendish says
Amazing how she seems to become more and more fit . . . Was one show better than the other?
Shrimpton Couture says
I love her – saw her in concert here in Toronto the last time she toured and my only regret was that I had not popped for the first row, floor seats. Just a stellar performer!!
Songy says
This is way cool, WendyB.
She looks hot I know. My aim is to get biceps like hers.. pretty much impossible at this stage but maybe I should get some lessons from enc one day. 🙂
the iron chic says
If my ass looks like that when I’m 50, I’ll be really happy. Ugh. You have to work at that stuff though.
I hate working out. Hate it.
Deja Pseu says
Well, good for her for staying strong. Did I understand correctly, you saw her perform two nights in a row? That’s a FAN.
La Belette Rouge says
She is a woman with so much passion and drive. Her ability to focus on what she wants and to make that happen is admirable. And, yes, I so need to get to the gym. Thanks for the reminder, Madonna.;-)
jennine says
i wonder if she ever hangs out with tina turner…
Sal says
Madonna strikes me as someone who is strong in every way that a human can be. My admiration for her has never waned. Neither has my hetero girl crush.
CDP says
Awesome. And I cannot think of a single excuse for not wearing rubber bangles.
Iheartfashion says
She is physically amazing! Makes me want to hit the gym harder…
enc says
She is a solid piece of work.
How cool that she’s been such an important part of your life. I’m sure she’s honored.
I’m sorry you lost all your rubber bracelets. That’s very tragic.
I had armfuls of rhinestone bracelets, and I can’t find a single one of those. Also tragic.
quoththeraven says
I have the opposite thought when I see her. I just want to grab a doughnut.
WendyB says
Yes, DP, I went two nights in a row.
Savvy Mode SG says

ParisBreakfasts says

She’s amazing, my boss always tried to get me to do yoga with her and was like ‘oooh but we can have bodies like madonna!’ she looks awesome
Emily says
you must have had some pretty sweet seats! so fun!
Karen says
I love Madonna, and admire her fitness, surgery etc. But she is looking like Mutton Dressed as Lamb at this point. I want to see her MATURE in her style!
petite and dynamite says
what were you like on top of her ?? you must have had amazin’ seats ?? or is it just a ZOOOOOOM on the camera ??
She looks smokin’ — I wish one part of my body looked 1/2 as good as any of hers…
she is determined!
Tiffany says

and so sad about the rubber bangles, I totally had them too.
WendyB says
PB, people unsubscribed because of THAT post? LOL.
Lynette says
Even my sons had some rubber bracelets–I’d forgotten all about them. Seems like they were blue and black. Amazing what memories a word or a phrase can trigger, isn’t it?
myriam says
Weird that she’s actually 50, haha
The Clothes Horse says
Her body is a machine.
