A round of applause, please, for gorgeous and generous blogger Deja Pseu, who won my NieNie auction with a bid of $1,500! Little birds tell me that this might be a record auction bid in the NieNie world, though I will have to investigate that further.
To refresh your memories, the auction was being held to help pay medical expenses for blogger Stephanie “NieNie” Nielson and her husband Christian, both of whom were badly burned in a plane crash last month. You can keep up-to-date on their condition at Stephanie’s sister’s blog.
NieNie and Christian With her spectacular bid, Deja Pseu won my silver Diana Necklace, which will be specially engraved by a master engraver for her.

The rest of you should remember that $1,500 doesn’t go very far when treating someone who has been burned over 80% of her body.
